Ford Everest Features

Pro Trailer Backup Assist

Ford Everest Trailer Tow

Pro Trailer Backup Assist is a great addition to the 2024 Ford Everest. This feature eliminates the need for manual steering adjustments when reversing with a trailer, thereby streamlining the process for drivers. By manipulating a dial on the centre console, drivers can control the trailer’s direction easily. This functionality, integrated into the outer ring of the drive mode controller, adjusts the steering wheel automatically, directing the trailer accordingly. Pro Trailer Backup Assist will be available as an optional feature on selected Everest 4×4 grades, including the Trend and Sport variants, as part of the Touring Pack. For the Everest Platinum, it will be included in the Pro Towing Pack, an exclusive offering for this top-tier grade.

Revised Model Lineup

In line with Ford’s commitment to optimizing its product offerings, the MY24.5 Everest lineup has undergone strategic adjustments. The Trend 4×2 variant has been discontinued, while rear-wheel-drive versions of the Ambiente and Sport grades will remain available. Notably, the Everest Wildtrak, limited to 800 units in Australia, will not be retained for the MY24.5 range.
